CUESTA REY

In 1884, a young Spanish immigrant named Angel LaMadrid Cuesta opened his first cigar factory and soon gained a reputation as one of the finest cigar craftsmen of his time. A few years later, he was joined by Peregrino Rey, and together they formed the world-renowned and high-quality Cuesta-Rey cigars. Cuesta-Rey cigars were once the official cigar of Spanish King Alfonso XIII in the 19th century, and Señor Cuesta was honored with the title “Tobacco Supplier for the Spanish King and Court.” Today, more than a century later, these cigars are crafted with great care in the Dominican Republic by the esteemed Tabacalera A. Fuente.
