Description
The Connoisseur B is a Geniales vitola, with a 54 ring. This robust cigar is beautiful to look at, wrapped in a rich Corojo leaf and filled with luxurious tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo zone. Four years after the launch of Connossieur A, Habanos presents the H. Upmann Connossieur B, a logical addition to the storied tradition of the H. Upmann brand. Following on from the previous exclusive edition, intended for both La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialist stores, the Connossieur B also “wears” a second ring with the two logos. A rich, full-bodied smoke emerges upon ignition, while aromas of honey and chocolate flood the senses as it burns, leaving a distinctive creaminess on the palate. Additional notes of cedar, leather and nuts then mix in, reaching light to medium intensity.

Herman Upmann was a banker from Germany who so loved Cuban cigars that he moved to Havana in 1844 and set up as both banker and cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920s but his cigars live on as a fine example of an elegant light to medium-flavoured Habano. All the leaf in H. Upmann is from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region. Gold medals in no less than eleven international exhibitions during the 19th Century adorn the box — as does Herman Upmann’s personal signature. The brand today comprises a wide range of “totalmente a mano, tripa larga” – totally hand made, long filler.
