Les Hoyo Du Depute is a very nice looking little cigar full of a blend of honey and floral aromas. It has a full flavor and burns quickly, leaving a soft aroma of honey, exotic wood and pink pepper, while as time passes, floral notes are added to the bouquet of aromas.

Hoyo de Monterrey is established on its own land in the city of San Luis y Martinez in the heart of the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region. Access to the plantation is through a gate in the town’s central square with the inscription “Hoyo de Monterrey, Jose Gener 1860”. The word “Hoyo” literally means “hole” and in this case describes the low elevation of the plantation, near the banks of the Juan y Martinez River. Jose Gener first used this name on a brand of Habanos in 1865. All Hoyo de Monterrey cigars are handmade “totalmente a mano” and long filler “tripa larga”.
