Selection No1 is a Corona Gorda that won the title of best Havana in 1998 in Spain and France. It has a very good texture, amazing taste and balanced aroma. It burns evenly and is easy to smoke. It leaves a sweet taste of wood, vanilla, caramel and black pepper that mixes generously with the creamy smoke while the aroma of Cuban cedar dominates. Its lovely maduro wrapper complements its very good construction.

The Juan Lopez company was founded in 1870 by the Spanish businessman Juan Lopez Diaz. Although the Juan Lopez company is not particularly well known worldwide, it always has a loyal following among Cuban cigar aficionados. Her cigars have a solid flavor based on the rich blend of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and are all completely handmade “totalmente a mano” and long filler “tripa larga”.
