La Aurora was founded in 1903 in the community of Don Pedro, where Don Eduardo Leon Jimenes established the cigar factory with the ambitious vision of creating products of excellent quality and world-class standards. In 1963, the company passed into the hands of his son, Eduardo Leon Asensio, who joined forces with his siblings and successfully continued their father’s legacy.
The aroma and flavor of Dominican cigars enjoy worldwide recognition and international prestige, with La Aurora cigars being included in the list of the best cigars in the world.
