The Montecristo Linea 1935 was announced at the 19th Habanos Festival. The Linea 1935 is for Montecristo what is Behike for Cohiba: an ultra-premium cigar, series with luxury packaging and especially vitolas. The Montecristo Linea 1935 is one of the top-of-the-line Havana’s “regular” production with outstanding value for money. Linea 1935 cigars are packed in elegant wooden boxes with matte, brown lacquer and rose gold inscriptions. The same color combination marks the cigar rings, and for the first time we find a third ring at the base of the cigar.

Leyenda
means legend in Spanish language.

In recent
years, maduro wrappers are used, but this cigar differs with a Colorado – light
honey and oily wrapper.

There are
the traditional Montecristo flavors but some wonderful cherry notes along with
chocolate and even caramel  always in
balance.

It is more
rich in flavor than the usual Montecristos, with velvet smoke, long length and
greater intensity. It’s a full flavor cigar with great potential ideal for
aging.

Montecristo is the best known and probably the
most appreciated brand of Habanos throughout the world. It forms the benchmark

The name comes from the hero of Alexandre Dumas’
famous novel “The Count of Montecristo”, which was a firm favourite
among the Torcedores ( Cigar Makers) at the factory in Havana where it was
founded in 1935.
