The Partagás Legado is the only limited edition launched in 2020 and created to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Partagás, founded in Havana in 1845. The limited edition was presented on September 25. It belongs to the vitola de galera “Hermosos No.2” and has a ring gauge of 48 and measures 157 mm. “Edición Limitada” are very popular among cigar lovers and are eagerly awaited every year. They are characterized by the fact that their vitola cannot be found in the brand’s regular portfolio and the leaves (wrapper, filler and binder) mature for at least two years. All Habanos belonging to the Limited Editions are made “Totally Handmade with Long Filler” from selected leaves in the best tobacco region: Vuelta Abajo.

If there is one particularly famous cigar factory in Havana, it is Partagas. You can find it at No. 520 Industria Street, just behind the Capitol building, in the heart of the city. The factory was opened in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas and it has been making the cigars that bear his name ever since. A Partagas is immediately recognisable by its deep, earthy flavour. All sizes are “totalmente a mano, tripa larga”-totally hand made, long filler.
