SAN CRISTOBAL DE LA HABANA – La Fuerza

24.40/τεμ

The name San Cristobal de la Habana is the original name for Havana, the capital of Cuba, when it was founded in 1519, combining Columbus’ name (St Christopher) and the Indian place name (La Habana).

La Fuerza offers many rich earthy and coffee flavors that develop into leather and mahogany tones. This is a slightly longer robusto, known as a “gordito”, and seems to be the richest La Cristobal batch to date.

Intensity: Medium to Strong

Packaging: 25 Cigars

Length: 141mm

San Cristobal de la Habana cigars were first introduced in 1999 as a tribute to the city’s long history before the new millennium. Their range consists of 4 light to medium strength vitolas using tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region. Each of them takes its name from the fortresses that surrounded the city and defended it during the war with Spain. They are all handmade “totalmente a mano” and prepared using the long filler “tripa larga” method.
