La Mission by L’Atelier cigars, of which Pete Johnson of Tatuaje is a partner, is a cigar inspired by a Bordeaux winery called Chateau La Mission. The cigar is wrapped in a Mexican San Andres leaf with Nicaraguan binder and fillers, including Sancti Spiritus leaf. The cigar is made in Nicaragua by My Father Cigars. The La Mission du L’Atelier 1959 is a robusto. The date 1959 corresponds to the year that Chateau La Mission winery received a 100 point rating from the famous wine critic Robert Parker.
