This stand was specially created by Vauen for the very popular Auenland pipeline designed based on the Lord of the Rings movies. It is amazing how much the Auenland pipe fits in with this stand. It is hand-crafted on a solid oak wood base with a felt at the bottom to keep it from slipping, while a real tree branch allows your Churchwarden to stand securely.

Vauen was founded as Vereinigte Pfeifenfabriken in Nuremberg in 1901 and is the biggest smoking pipes manufacturer.
In the search for a more recognizable brand name, Ernst Eckert, son of Adolf Eckert renamed the company to VAUEN.
VAUEN was one of the first manufacturers that inserted a simple paper filter in 1921. More research and development lead Dr. Perl junior to the active charcoal filter with a 9 mm diameter that was first introduced in 1934 as a worldwide innovation. A huge success!
After 1945 the company, managed to overcome the catastrophic consequences of the war with an innovative spirit. VAUEN became a company with worldwide fame.
