In the late 1950s, the grandson of the Gilberto Oliva family was forced to leave his homeland and go to Nicaragua. Gilberto&#8217;s insistence and constant search for the best tobacco led the 4th generation of the family to turn these quality tobacco into handmade premium-quality cigars.<br \/>\nThen they joined forces with the Belgian Vandermarliere family, founders of J. Cortes, who shared the same struggle for cigars, tradition and family.
