The launch of the Joya de Nicaragua Antano series in 2002 established Joya de Nicaragua as a brand. The success of this affordable cigar led the factory’s authorities to select some of the tobaccos for further aging, resulting in this special edition.
The filler is aged for five years, and the wrapper consists of carefully selected Nicaraguan tobaccos from Criollo seeds.
Its flavor profile is woody and earthy, with a long finish of spices, leather, and wood.
The Joya de Nicaragua – Antano 1970 Gran Reserva Robusto Grande has received excellent reviews and awards.
